Benchmark General Contractors is proud to celebrate two recent honors that reflect the company’s commitment to excellence in construction and service throughout Southwest Florida.
The company was named Best Home Builder in Fort Myers in the 2026 Official Community’s Choice Awards. This recognition reflects the trust of clients, partners, and community members, as well as the dedication and craftsmanship the Benchmark team brings to every project.
Adding to this achievement, President and Owner Brad Nickel was recognized as a Gulfshore Business 40 Under 40 honoree, honoring emerging leaders who are making an impact in Southwest Florida.
After serving in the military, Nickel built a career in construction driven by a passion for teamwork, leadership, and creating lasting projects that serve local communities. Beyond his work in the industry, he actively supports numerous nonprofit and conservation organizations throughout the region and has played a key role in helping communities recover and rebuild following recent hurricanes.
